This is my first Glassheart story (though I prefer Charming Hearts, in my opinion); Chloe Charming has been raised to be perfect. As the daughter of Cinderella and King Charming, she embodies everything Auradon expects from its future queen: graceful, kind, and unbreakable. At least, that's what everyone believes. Red of Hearts, on the other hand, is the opposite. As the daughter of the Queen of Hearts, Red is sharp-tongued, reckless, and unapologetically herself. She's used to being seen as dangerous, broken, or wrong before she even opens her mouth. When their paths cross, Chloe sees chaos, while Red sees cracks. As pressure builds and expectations tighten, Chloe begins to fracture under the weight of a crown she never asked for. Red becomes the only person who doesn't demand perfection, only honesty. But loving the wrong person has consequences. In a kingdom built on glass promises and fairy-tale endings, Chloe must decide whether to keep pretending to be whole or to let herself shatter and choose something real.
