Another Bridge to Terabithia fanfiction where Jess and Leslie go on a new journey, college. Of course this is a LDD story, and everyone is in character. Our heroic duo will have to navigate through tests, mean professors, midterms, and cramming. Can they make it? Before someone asks what about the pandemic, I will have them start college in 2018 so that the pandemic hits the fan after they arrived. I know it's opposed to the canon timelines of the seventies and 2007 but it's artistic liberty, plus I wanted to also eventualy write about the pandemic. Or it may not even happen in this universe if it's too offensive.

Jess Aaron's has been away at college. He can't shake the loss of his once best friend Leslie Burke. He arrives at his home where Leslie and him were once neighbors. He decides to go back to the place they used to play, only to discover Leslie has been alive all this time.

This story is a continuation of the beloved book/movie Bridge to Terabithia. {Spoilers for Bridge to Terabithia from here on out} This book takes starts a week before the one year anniversary of Leslie Burke's death. I am going to use IHateSnakes logic here and say that the date of her death is April 5, 2007, making this book start on March 30th, 2008 (Fairly relevant date to me as well). Do not worry, this will all be explained in the book (along with subtle IHateSnakes and ElleFred references). Even if it's a little much for a 12 year old to really think about, he still knows it's true. He would have married her. He really, really would have.

A sequel to "The Bridge to College," it starts where it leaves off. Jess and Leslie are now adults and set out in the world. While The Bridge to College was more Jess focused, here they share the spotlight. Leslie is a renown actress and writer while Jess is a semi famous artist and mathmitician who works as an every man. They go on adventures across the world and face adventures, tragedy, and the stress adult life brings. And Leslie wants a baby. While adult implications are mentioned, this will stay PG-13 as I do not want to corrupt Bridge to Terabithia

A broken rope and a flooded river was enough to make anyone believe what looked be the simplest answer to a tragic death, but what if they were wrong? With an empty casket and a magical land full of unexplainable creatures and places, who's to say that she didn't just disappear. Who's to say that maybe the things that we can't see are the things that are right in front of us? All you have to do is keep your mind clear and your eyes...wide open.
