Peggy is a university student in Manhattan. Working as a part-time secretary at a law firm, she walks to work from school every day, then takes the subway to her apartment. Dottie is a musician, who came to America with her big American dream. She's been on the streets of Manhattan since she arrived, playing covers to popular songs for some cash. Late one night, Peggy took the long way home and passed by Dottie's corner. Hearing the words to her favourite song, Peggy stopped and listened. This is my first story i've written on wattpad, the title will make sense in the end i promise y'all. In the end of each chapter y'all can guess what the title means so it's a story with mystery.
