Newspaper-boys are lured into houses, strange mansions whisper into musicians' ears, old men tell tales of vampires, drums boom in the Savannah, children worship false gods and priests begin to question the very foundations of the universe. And all this has something to do with a girl who has no name and a cat whose name nobody knows. A dark, surreal adventure, this book is my flawed tribute to weird-fiction and the writers who made me. Evie, young, stubborn, with a strong devotion to her family she tries everyday to be strong for her ailing Mother. After a year with no news of her Fathers return or safety from Port Royal she feels as though she will lose her Mother. Willing to do anything for her family she thinks of the most dangerous of plans. Plans that will change the course of everything she believes in.

The two sides make the story whole. There was a girl, and then there was a boy. She wanted to love him, but he only wanted to live. He failed to express his love when she poured her soul into loving him. In the end, they were unsure of which chances they would regret not taking, for an untimely death hid beneath their fake smiles. Sternly does she believe that the way she looks now is mostly plastic surgery. She can't even remember how she looked before. Well determined, she moves to Evan High School(EHS) to make her revenge. She tries her best to fit into the school. Getting in her way of revenge is when she meets Kenton Jones. The schools most known hottest player. To her, he's a bad luck and an ass to her. Not knowing the emotional problems he was going through silently. Trying to get her revenge done and focusing solely on her academics....she finds herself getting drawn more to him. Battling her feelings for Kenton....she keeps her head straight on getting her revenge and graduating from school.

Here lie my thoughts, written in words so graceful. Here lie my feelings, ones that were somewhat painful. Here lie the memories I never plan to forget.
