Brindlee Stories

Fourteen-year-old Breclan Channing has just woken up-- but not the usual sleep. He has been sleeping for twenty years. The kid genius created a serum to try and make himself incapable of feeling pain-- but instead, he froze the bodily functions. His brain was still working though. He was experiencing dreams, only during these dreams he could feel real pain. As a child, he was ignored by his parents. He poured this sadness into science and was a genius. The only person he loved was his twin sister, Brindlee. After waking up, he discovers that she is dead. There is nothing left for him, so why bother staying. Not to mention the country has faced great changes during the twenty years-- such as the splitting into east and west sides. Breclan would have to get used to so much, and there would be no family or friends to help him through it. Breclan must face the reality-- something he doesn't want to deal with. And he must decide himself what to do.
