A shape shifter is a human with the ability to shift into a larger version of one certain animal. For 16 year old Mara Walker, that animal is a fox. But there's something different about Mara. She shifted later than usual, her animal form is almost as massive as a wolf shifter's form, and you can almost feel her power when you're around her. While Mara tries to understand her newly acquired power, a war is brewing when too many shifters are being spotted. Luke Williams, a 17 year old wolf shifter, discovers a 100 year old prophecy about the Bringer, a powerful shifter who is to bring peace to the world and stop the war.
