Damien is a young elf prince born in the golden era of the Dragon Riders. Before the Rider War against the Forsworn. He doesn't feel like he fits into anything having to do with the Magic of his people. It falters in ways that has gotten him a bad reputation amongst his family. Until fate takes a turn for the unexpected and he becomes the one thing he doesnt believe he can be. Will Damien learn to change the way he thinks of himself? Will his bloodline intertwined in the fate of the world decide course of destiny? Can Damien and his friends stay true to themselves? Or will they be turned by forces of Evil? Forces that will control the fate of Alagaesia. Forces that will bring forth "The prophecy of the 21 fates." All characters except my own belong to Christopher paolini and Inheritance cycle. This is a Fanfiction so its for mine and others enjoyment as to what the Dragon Rider war was like in its begginings. With my own twist of course.

:SPOILERS FOR INHERITANCE CYCLE: Uruk is an Urgal. He lives in on of his kinds wealthier villages. It is in the Spine, in the land between Narda and Tierm. Some of the other Urgals things Uruk is strange. He uses bows, a raid weapon, every day. He is weak and quiet. Even his name sounds small. Galbatorix is gone and an egg has gone to the dwarves and and egg has gone to the Urgals. Eragon has used the name of the ancient language to make it possible for dragons to choose either of the two races for their Riders, as well as elves and humans. Every three months the egg is passed around the village in hopes it will hatch. This has gone on for only six months but the Herndall as beginning to worry. They need Riders, and NOW. This is a future tale of Eragon and Saphira in the 21st century (or there abouts) it is my depiction of a fifth book written in inspiration from Christopher Paolinis' original Inheritance series. It is started after finishing the second book and waiting to start the third and fourth. There are some of the original characters those of which I give all credit to the original author but the newer characters are of my creation, yet always inspired by the original workings of Christopher Paolini.

50 Years after Inheritance, Eragon has found a suitable training ground for the new riders. After building the residential area, the training facilities and library, Eragon and his company of Elves opened up the island to new recruits. The island was named "Menoa Fell" or Mother Mountain in the ancient language. 4 new riders have come to the island, a dwarf, 2 elves and a human. It seems the eggs preferred to hatch for children, as none of the new riders were born older than 20 years when the egg hatched for them. Both Eragon and Arya, have been destroying their emotional health over the years, ignoring their blind instincts to see each other again, hoping that over time their feelings would pass. This relentless effort of keeping their emotions for each other out of the way of their duties making the relationships they have built with their companions take a slight dip. Only their closeness with their respective dragons remained as close as ever, if not more.

What would happen if the Hero of one world became trapped in another? Percy Jackson has suddenly disappeared again and this time the God's have nothing to do with it. Percy finds himself in a new world, much younger than his own with natural laws that are different than what he is used to. His only way back, he has to protect the hero of this world as well as become one himself. Can he be open minded enough to entrench himself into this new world or will he be destined to make enemies at every turn do to his ignorance? Eragon has no idea how he is going to succeed in his destiny, but when a green eyed boy shows up with a hatchling claiming that he was sent to protect him, Eragon suddenly begins to believe he has a chance. With eyes like the sea and an auror of power that can compete with Galbatorix Eragon is certain this boy can teach him a few tricks, but can he convince the Varden to trust the new Rider enough to allow them to work together?

I published the prologue on my other account but I decided to make a new account so... yeah. I'm just restarting the book. Fanfiction for the Inheritance series by Christopher Paolini, you don't have to read the series because I will explain everything, but I still 10/10 recommend it. Just read and give it a shot, I swear its decent... not really but whatever... keep in mind I'm only 13, so this is gonna suck. Buckle up, you're in for a rough ride.

A year and a half after the defeat of Galbatorix at the hands of Eragon and the Varden, Alagaësia has moved forward - without Eragon.
