Bristlekit was born in StormClan, a new clan that is made out of rogues and loners. Bristlekit is a curios and stubborn kit who does what she thinks is right. Soon enough Bristlekit is given the name Bristlepaw, and her mentor is Duskstar, the leader of StormClan who has 9 lives. Duskstar teaches Bristlepaw how to talk to Starclan, learn prophecies, and fight in different ways. This training is different from normal lessons. Bristlepaw receives a prophecy, " At sunrise the one who knows more shall die, or the most innocent will never be seen again. "

The tribes of the Freljord were once united until the peace was broken by the Winter's Wrath and the Frost Archer.
