Addie never asked for a life in politics. If you would have told her when she was five that she would be the daughter of the President of the United States of America, she would have laughed in your face. She would much rather be living back in her childhood home in Texas than the White House. However, she makes the best of her stuffy, busy life, even if that means putting up a face that doesn't match how she really feels. "Smile and nod," she's always told. So she smiles and nods.
Cam grew up in the palace, and he's the epitome of what everyone expects the youngest of three princes to be: the ecentric, golden retriver prince that the cameras eat up. Since the UK won't need him to lead the country anytime soon, he's perfectly happy with his royal but out of the way life... except when it gets boring. But, by being youngest son, he's learned how to be quite good at spicing things up.
With world war looming on the horizon, Addie and Cam are driven together as their parents (and countries) seek alliances to stave off destruction. When the two stumble into each other, they discover how shockingly similar their lives and beliefs are, despite the ocean that separates their lives.
