Gracie had been training to be a medic for 3 years before finally ascertaining a secured place on 2 Section as a medic. Her brother being special forces meant she knew everyone on the Section and was quite close with all of them. There was 8 of them; Gracie, Fingers, Rab, Monk, Kingy, Brains, Allie and Captain James. Allie had become exceptionally close to Gracie, and both girls being attracted to the same gender often landed them in many a joke from the guys, but little did they know the attraction was real, just a very well kept secret. This is a part of something really big I'm working on. It's about two teenagers travelling through the twentieth century slaying beasts that eat time. I submitted it as an English final and did pretty well, so I hope you enjoy it. Tell me if you want more.

In the heat of war, the only thing more dangerous than the enemy is the one thing that can save you. Helmand Province is hell on earth. For Lieutenant Laurie Weston, it's a stark contrast to the privileged world he left behind. His only escape is the sketchbook in his vest, a silent rebellion against the chaos. For Captain Ralph Hadleigh, it's another tour of duty, another mission to command and control. When they're thrown together on a reconnaissance patrol, a single, searing glance across the dusty compound ignites a spark that threatens to burn down every wall they've built. They're trained for IEDs and enemy fire, not for this-the reckless, undeniable pull between them. In a world where a moment's hesitation gets you killed, surrender is not an option. But as danger closes in, protecting the mission means guarding more than just each other's backs. It means hiding a connection that could destroy their careers... or become their only lifeline. Desert Heat is a gripping, high-stakes military romance about the lines we cross and the secrets we keep to hold onto the one person who makes the war worth surviving.

The 36th (Ulster) Division was an infantry division of the British Army, part of Lord Kitchener's New Army, formed in September 1914. Originally called the Ulster Division, it was made up of members of the Ulster Volunteer Force, who formed thirteen additional battalions for three existing regiments: the Royal Irish Fusiliers, the Royal Irish Rifles and the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers. The division served on the Western Front as a formation of the British Army during the Great War. In this book you will learn of the fallen Ulster comrades and experiance the daily life of being part of that division. LEST WE FORGET
