I had done this little exercise, asking my body what's up basically. And I got an image in my head of a boulder, some pillars, and two people running around them, one chasing the other. This is what came of it. No real plot currently, just this. Maybe it could turn into something down the road, but I thought I'd share it here. Mind you, I wrote this out in like half an hour. Feel free to ask me questions or leave your own comments. Maybe it resonated with you somehow.

In the last years of the nineteenth century, change sweeps across western Canada. As settlers rush to fill new homesteads, cattle drivers find themselves grasping for a job. News of riches found in the north starts to spread from town to town, and gold fever seeps into every mind. In a white man's world, a Siksika woman escapes the prejudiced stares that haunt her. The heir of a massive Canadian tycoon flees a hellish betrothal. Their family maid follows, chasing the one who holds her heart. The remnants of a broken cattle driving band turn to headhunting in the hopes of buying back their ranch. Somewhere in the middle, they find they all have to depend on one another in order to survive. A tale of intrigue, scheming, and sheer dumb luck, where an elopement, a battle, a bounty, and a well-timed bar fight leads to the forming of a band of outlaws and runaways, clawing their way to the Klondike, and each other's throats.

Here's a continuation of 365, the story where I do my best to write SOMETHING every day. Wattpad has a chapter limit of 200, and that was reached on July 19th. So, the rest of the year will be written in this, I guess. The first 200 days of the year are in a story simply called "365". (It has the same cover.) hello again! another poetry book - number four, to be exact. if you've been here a while, you know the drill: there's no order to this thing, and after 100 poems or writing pieces, there's gonna be a new book. about the cover: it was a Thursday at Street Spirits, a local theatre group in PG. I was waiting outside the building, and it started raining. I liked the aesthetic of it. it gave off a very "theatre of the oppressed" feel, which is what Street Spirits does. The Gold Mountain Diary of Y/N... Monday, November 13th, 1990. My Baba looked very serious and he asked me how much I thought about Ma. Every day, is what I said, but I did not tell him that I thought of Ma many times each day. Baba smiled and said that he did as well. He looked very hard at me, making sure our eyes saw each other. ''I promise, Y/N,'' he said, ''that we will do everything we can to bring your mother and brother here.'' He gripped my arm, so tight that it hurt. I knew that what Baba said was true. hey guys. I know I'm already writing a fan fiction, but I just thought of a story that would be much easier to write. I thought it would be fun to write about my life. What I do when I'm not on Wattpad. So I hope you enjoy.

She and her boyfriend don't end on a good note which leaves her with just her friends and her dad. But when she and her friends slowly lose contact, she realises that she's going to have to either find new friends or figure out how to make herself happy, without her boyfriend or friends. With leaving her old life in New York behind, will she be able to still be happy when she moves to Victoria, or will she give up trying and move back to New York with her mom?
