"So through the night rode Paul Revere;
And so through the night went his cry of alarm
To every Middlesex village and farm, -
A cry of defiance and not of fear,
A voice in the darkness, a knock at the door,
And a word that shall echo forevermore!
For, borne on the night-wind of the Past,
Through all our history, to the last,
In the hour of darkness and peril and need,
The people will waken and listen to hear
The hurrying hoof-beats of that steed,
And the midnight message of Paul Revere"
-Paul Revere's Ride by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
Nothing lasts forever, and no one knows that more than America. Her entire life has been a burden on her shoulders, and she's been through more than most can imagine. Finally, she experiences a relieving era of relative peace, but there's a storm brewing on the horizon.
She won her freedom centuries ago, but some wars never stay buried. This time, however, she's not only fighting for herself. America has fifty children to protect at all costs. No one else knows they exist. Not her enemies, not her friends. She's all alone. She prefers it this way, and she does everything in her power to maintain this unstable and temporary peace. Unfortunately, some people won't let that happen.
America must decide who to trust, because the British are coming, and they're coming for her.
DISCLAIMER!!
This is just for fun, and it is not my intent to push any political agendas. Also, it is in no way historically, culturally, geographically, or stereotypically accurate. This is all a story I made completely, as I said before, for fun, and the countries are characters, and have almost nothing to do with their political states in this story.
Also, warning, there will be fighting, and blood.
