One week on to the biggest case the small town of Broadchurch has ever seen, DI Alec Hardy is under a lot of stress and is running out of evidence. A young girl who reminds him of his daughter comes into his life unexpectedly. Alec learns that maybe he does need a hand to hold.

This short story is inspired by what I saw lately on instagram and other social media related to Good Omens' season 3 and its BTS, particularly, my creative flair was stimulated by the page @tennantism on instagram (love that page with both my body and soul I swear-) (also posted on ao3!!) In this one shot, Crowley's still dealing with the sense of emptiness that seems to be haunting him ever since Aziraphale left him for Heaven. While he tries to handle his contrasting feelings, something unexpected happens. Someone, a familiar face enters the bookshop, and meets his gaze. And perhaps, this time a nightingale might be singing in Berkley Square.

Hello, I am Val, I'm a new writer here on Wattpad. This story is completely made up by me, though there are relations to Broadchurch, and it's based on that, but with my own characters and other places and a different story. I hope you like it! This book has description of murder and in parts is probably unsettling to some sensitive readers, though it's not in too much detail. I'm sorry for any mistakes- i.e spelling or grammar, and will try to update often, right now im writing the first few chapters. I love & miss Broadchurch! So I've decided to rewrite series 1,2&3 but with my own spin. Alec Hardy is going to have a relationship (Finally :-) ) therefore the story will focus on the relationship as well as the crimes.
