After getting a new case with your boss/ partner Alec Hardy are stationed in New York City to join an investigation of numerous murders around the city. After analyzing a few of the bodies that were found you find they are very similar to those of The Surgeon. Hoping to find out who is causing this you go under cover as a reporter to get information from the infamous Martin Whitly.

Alec Hardy had no choice but to have his operation after he was forced out of his job in Broadchurch, so before deciding whether to go back or not, he goes on a trip to a small northern Californian town called Gracepoint only to face déjà vu and meet Rose Tyler, who has been sent to form a local branch of Torchwood. Set in the AU.

A new Detective Sargent named Emma Jones joins the Broadchurch team much to Hardy's dismay. But when an enemy from an old case of Hardy's returns, he finds that Emma is more than capable to help.

Ellie pensa a Beth, a Mark, a Chloe e alle loro vite distrutte, ma soprattutto pensa a Danny, a quel bambino morto troppo presto e a come avrebbe potuto impedire che morisse se solo avesse visto. Chiude gli occhi e analizza ogni frammento, cercando quel qualcosa che, se fosse andato diversamente, avrebbe potuto cambiare le cose. Ellie sa che è inutile, che il passato non si cambia e che Danny non può tornare, non importa quanto ardentemente tutti loro lo desiderino, eppure non riesce a farne a meno, perché ci sono cose a cui non puoi non aggrapparti, anche se sai che ti consumeranno fino alle ossa e non lasceranno altro che cenere.

Hello, I am Val, I'm a new writer here on Wattpad. This story is completely made up by me, though there are relations to Broadchurch, and it's based on that, but with my own characters and other places and a different story. I hope you like it! This book has description of murder and in parts is probably unsettling to some sensitive readers, though it's not in too much detail. I'm sorry for any mistakes- i.e spelling or grammar, and will try to update often, right now im writing the first few chapters. The way im doing it is you will have (for example) chapter 1 but different parts.
