"Remember what I told you," Brock reminded Claire, "yes dad," Claire responded. They walked into HYDRA HQ, and immediately were greeted By Alexander Pierce, who took them to the others. Claire saw everyone, and immediately sqeezed, and hid her face in Brock's arm, he told her, "It's alright Claire, your safe, I'm here." Caire came out of hiding, but was still clinging to his arm. "Alright," Pierce said, "Claire are you ready to Join HYDRA?" Claire shook her head, Brock excused them, "Claire you won't have to have a needle, I already spoke to them about that." "Daddy I changed my mind," she said, then added quietly, "I don't want to join," Brock looked at her, "You want to be with daddy, or at school?" "Daddy," Claire said then began to cry, Brock held her in a strong embrace, then when she calmed down, they rejoined the group.

A distant memory now, as HYDRA has laid waste to the intelligence organization. Trusts were broken between the closest friends and coworkers as anyone could’ve been working for HYDRA and no one would know it. It was a scary thought, but an important one that could mean the difference between life and death, living and just surviving. As long as you trusted no one but yourself, you may just be able to make it in this dismal and slowly diminishing world some dare call home. Kennedy Rumlow was Brock rumlows neice, and lived with him at a young age. It was hard to avoid HYDRA when Kennedy was around, so brock put her to use- in HYDRA. [authors note: Hehehe, im back again. I've been working on my writing style and have been reading a lot of things to help me write these characters better these past months...years...however long its been. This story I've had in my mind for awhile now and have been dying to write it, but was worried that I would butcher it like my last two big stories (Confusion and Helping Hand). Chronic will be placed in a whole different universe than the Reign series and will take place during and right after Captain America: the Winter Soldier. This means that everything after Cap2 will be irrelevent to this story. I will begin posting this story once im done renovating my page this week; so expect seeing things soon.
