Hanggang sa marinig niya ang apat na salitang hindi niya kailanman malilimutan. "Naawa lang ako sa'yo." Para bang huminto ang oras.

Ang pag-ibig na hindi mo hinanap, dumating ng mabilis, banayad, at parang himalang hindi mo inakala. Pero kung gaano kabilis itong pumasok sa buhay mo, ganoon din kabilis itong naglaho, iniwan kang may hawak na alaala na parang kumukupas sa bawat araw. Ito ang kwento ng babaeng nanatili matapos siyang mawala, kung paano niya hinarap ang katahimikan na iniwan niya, ang mga tanong na walang sagot, at ang lakas na natutunan niyang buuin mula sa puwang na iniwan ng isang pag-ibig na dumaan lang sandali.

Ketika semua kalimat BULLYING. Aku jadikan karya. Ingin aku buktikan bahwa, kalimat yang tidak sopan, bisa diolah menjadi kalimat yang paling manis. Namun, ada sebagian judul yang berasal dari karangan imajinasi.

Mula pagkabata ay nakasanayan na ni Maerie ang magsulat sa kanyang Diary kung saan dito niya ibinabahagi ang lahat ng mga kaganapan niya sa buhay- malungkot, masaya, o mga nakakakilig na mga karanasan niya. Ito ay sa kadahilanang may pagkamahiyain siya at malayo ang loob sa mga tao sa paligid. Isa narin nang magawa siyang traydurin ng nag-iisang matalik niyang kaibigan simula pa lamang noong Junior High School siya. Mula noon, tanging ang kanyang Diary na lamang ang itinuturing niyang kaibigan at mapagsasabihan sa lahat ng pangyayari sa buhay niya; maliit na bagay man o malaki ay wala siyang tinatagong lihim mula dito. Sa isang mainit na tanghaling tapat ay labis na lamang ang kalungkutang nadama niya nang malamang iniwan at trinaydor siya ng nag-iisang kaibigan na siyang dahilan kung bakit niya pinangarap na maging tao na lamang ang kanyang diary. Paano nga ba kung sa isang iglap ay mabibigyang katuparan ang hiling niya at ito ay ang mabigyang-buhay at maging isang gwapo at kaaya-ayang nilalang ang kanyang Diary? Magiging masaya na kaya siya?
