Why is it that when trust is broken it has a considerable effect on the soul, we usually describe the intensity of pain as soul shattering? No matter how you try to move on, you still feel the trauma of trust trailing you, it's hard to be someone other than the betrayed. Leah is once more facing the grim hands of betrayal and this time she feels like this could ultimately end her. Unlike before, where she was able to go on in not confronting it, life isn't giving her the chance this time and has cornered her along with her past to face what she is deeply afraid of. Why is it that relationships are hard to form and yet harder to keep? And why in all of its complexities one can't live without it?

This story captured the complex and often painful relationship between me and my mom , highlighting the fractures and tension that exist between us.

I would say I never asked to be here, but I would be lying. I always imagined meeting a mystical being in my dreams, telling me that I was needed to save the universe and then waking up the next day as a transformer. But that's not how it went, there was no warning, no dream. I just woke up one day in an unfamiliar area and I was no longer made of flesh and blood, I was made of metal and energon. (I don't own Transformers or any of it's characters.)

Makai starts a new school in a new town but she thinks she lived there before, she doesn't remember anything from her childhood due to a car accident when she was around the age of 12. Makai is starting her sophomore year in high school, not knowing who she will fit in with, who she will be friends with or how she will make it through the year thinking she had lived there before. Dex is starting his sophomore year in high school and hates almost everything, he is one of the most typical quiet kids in school and doesn't think he will make any friends until he runs into Makai one morning before the start to the second semester of school. He tries to keep his cool but she just isn't what he though she would be and so he try's his best to keep her around even when she can be annoying by not talking. Blake Nash, the schools bad boy and one of the most popular kids in school, he had a history with Makai and wants to get everything back to how it was but with Dex around he won't be able to. Blake's reputation started off a cheater and he beat the guy up, he lies and fakes things to keep it going but will Makai be able to make him see the truth?
