Two kids whose parents and older sister died when they were young are bouncing around from foster home to foster home. What happens when they are in an abusive foster home and Stef is the one that rescues the two kids? Will Stef and Lena adopt them? Or will they turn the other cheek?

Then there's Tate which looks and acts Happy for everyone but on the inside he is truly in a world of pain and hate. He is abused by is Dad because his mom died 3 years ago in a car accident. Or there's the Twins Eilidh and Luna who have what some people would call a perfect life with both parents that are loving ,siblings that are annoying , semi popular ,and friends that love them. Elildh who we call Ellie or E is depressed , cuts, suicidal ,has an eating disorder, anxiety. She is also the older by 5 minutes and would do anything to help her sister Luna. Luna also loves her tin sister but she is depressed, suicidal, and has anxiety she has other stuff that we will talk about later. Try to keep up with our broken, hopeless selves i Dare you.

Being seventeen and fantastic at hip hop is great. But unfortunately, for Mareesa Glibson, that doesn't really match any extra curriculars all the other kids at her school do. They're rich and studious and stiff and massive snobs. She's not so rich or studious or stiff or snobby. Neither are the few friends she has.
