In this short story, Turac, the young son of a seer (shaman), has his first vision at the Winter Solstice and saves the day. This little tale is the first in a series based around my forthcoming novel "The Eye of Time", to give you a taste of the Neolithic world I have recreated there. The stories are set around Stonehenge at the end of the Neolithic/dawn of the Bronze Age and I have tried to be accurate in spirit to the evidence we have for those times in the British Isles. Leern and Kurn argue over the future of their father's inn. In an argument, a possible key to freedom from the inn's shackles is found. However, when they search for their metaphorical key, they meet a mysterious man. When he is reluctant to share his motivation, the brothers become suspicious.
