Enter Detective Sasha Vega: former undercover cop, sharp as glass, calm under fire, and irritatingly good at paperwork. When Sasha Vega transfers to the Nine-Nine, Jake thinks he's getting another Amy Santiago. He's wrong. Vega doesn't need validation, doesn't rise to his jokes, and somehow still matches him beat for beat in every case.

Hi! Before this story starts, I just wanted to put it out there that I have not written in 6 years since I was 14 lol so this may be a little rusty. I've always wanted to write a Brooklyn-99 story but I'm a little nervous as I said, it's been a while lol. A few notes, this is based in the future so obv the characters are older and their kids are also older and do feel free to leave any constructive criticism to help improve this. Thank you! the elevator doors were open. all jaws dropped when the new captain walked into the precinct. her fingers tightened around his, before being dropped completely.
