At some point in their life, everyone meets the ONE. Or so they think. That person you love with everything but there's something missing. The person that's almost the one. The 1/2. The .5 . Adrian is an arrogant jerk, and a playboy too. Katie can't stand the sight of him. However, when she's forced to either learn to deal with Adrian or give up being around her friends, she ends up getting to know him better than she expected to and they fall for each other. Their relationship is far from perfect, though, and life seems to have a way of tearing things apart. Can they overcome all the obstacles they're given and make it work? Can she overcome her fears and let go of the past that placed them there? Can he? Will her relationship with him tear her family apart? Maybe they're just not meant to be, but then again... maybe they are. In a story of love, heartbreak, forgiveness, and change you'll find these two characters trying to hold on to what often seems like a hopeless cause.
