All things considered, Honey Kapoor is at the prime of her life. She's just been offered her dream job, she's moving in with her best friend in a supposedly haunted apartment that costs next to nothing, and she just had the world's most amicable breakup with her nice (now ex) boyfriend. She's finally learning to let loose, doing things she never considered before, like getting drunk the weekend before the first day of the biggest job she's ever had or having a steamy encounter with the hot guy she just met. That is, until she realises the stranger is Billy Baker, the bane of her high school existence and her mortal enemy. To her unending annoyance, Billy is both just as stubborn as and way better looking than she remembers. And once he recognises her, he isn't willing to forgive and forget either. That would have all been fine if she hadn't made the horrifying discovery that he's working at the same magazine she's just joined. Maybe she should let go of her childish hatred for him, but the competitiveness they're both known for starts to rear its head when they're pitted together by their editor for the same stories. Backing down would mean losing, and Honey has never been in the habit of letting Billy win.
