But when Wu's turned back to normal, he can't remember ever being under the Overlord's power- or fighting Kai, for that matter. He has no idea why Kai suddenly seems so tentative and wary. Protective, too. He figured it was just because he was missing Zane after the second defeat of the Overlord. But there was some other kind of bitterness which changed his mind. Now, Sensei Wu is trying to discover why his student is acting so strangely and gain his trust back at the same time that Kai tries to sort out his feelings about both losing Zane, and losing his sense of protection under Wu's care. Will their bond be rebuilt, or will it come crashing down?

That adds up to about 1 billion abused women around the world every single year. Kayleena is a 17 year old girl who has a very interesting life. Between her psycho dad, her boyfriend, and friends, she believes shes loosing herself aswell. Will anyone help her in this deep hole of depression, this torture of never knowing who will yell at her next or leave a nasty mark on her body. Her secret life that she must lie to all the wrong people about, the people who truly love her.

Brooklyn goes to middle school. She thinks having a crush on some guy seems easy but stupid. She has had a crush on Jack Palmer for a few years now. Though, she doesn't really know love. Each day seems to be it's usual, until he offers to take her to a party. The classic mean girls still exist. At Brooklyn's school that title belongs to Sasha Evans. She has been the girl that shows up followed by trouble at it's least expected. After awhile they don't know what else to expect. Trying to live the most of your middle school year is a pain when you are someone else's piece in their fun. Brooklyn meets old friends and new people which can bring struggles. She would have never thought being a middle scholar could be so hard. She now knows she has thought wrong. Update: I write this a while ago and I wish I would've put more thought into it. *sigh*

You hear about deaths all the time, because of the hooligans. Everyone is afraid of them. Their nature is too dangerous for any normal person to be in it. But this time, Aurora can't get to decide. She's thrown into the danger. Will she be able to fight against the killers and the violence?
