No siempre las brujas fueron inmortales y tampoco albergaban una gran cantidad de poderes. Lena es una aprendiz de bruja que en una de las tantas reuniones de brujas es elegida para ser la primera prueba hacia la inmortalidad, un sacrificio sin valor pero algo sale mal, Lena no es una bruja que sepa controlar sus poderes y eso afectara al ritual y a su pareja de invocación haciendo que Lena tenga que pasar siglos reencarnandose, buscando a quien alberga la mitad de su poder.

Aziraphale y Crowley no han mantenido contacto, durante los úlitmos catorce años, con el cielo y el infierno. Ambos saben que tras los úlitmos acontecimientos son temidos allí arriba.
