When I remember The Cascade Clearing, I remember my mamma. She was a very beautiful mare, with her golden coat and a twinkle in her eyes. She said I looked just like her. She had never had a foal like me. I was born at the clearing. A beautiful place that my mamma knew. We spent most of our days there, rolling in the lush, dewy grass, or twisting and turning around the gigantic eucalyptus trees that towered over us.

This is a story about a young, free, wild two year old brumby, caught and taken away from his home in the Tumbarumba National Park mountains in Australia; this was his first experience with humans. little over a week later he was sold to his first home, this Is what i believe my horse went through during his 'breaking in' period. Based on a true story, also the picture is of me on him going for one of our trail rides <3

dandy is a bay pony sick of walking around in circles with spoilt kids on his back. shadow is a grey race horse who longs to run somewhere else except on the track. dawn is a bay brumby foal who has been separated from her herd. together these three horses will travel through the harsh Australian bush to find a place where they truly belong.

"The creamies no longer roam that mountains- the silvers legacy is all but gone- it'll all be forgotten soon- a legend- vanishing into the mist..." More then forty years after Thowra's death, his creamy descendants have been all but eradicated. Scattered through the mountains, not one of his surviving desendants carry his silver coat. That is, until, one stormy night, very much like the night he was born on, a brumby mare gives birth to a creamy colt. Narriwa is heir to Thowra's kingdom. Descant not only of Thowra, but also Baringa and Wirramirra, Narriwa is the meeting of waters. But Narriwa's unquie bloodlines, and beautiful coat will only get him so far, and if the creamy colt can not learn to fight- and survive, he will become yet another unfinished story. Faced with trials and tribulations, can the silver brumby really survive? And how can Narriwa follow in the hoof prints of someone like Thowra?

Skye was a common visitor to the Kosciusko national park but it wasn't until she went on the Kiandra heritage track did she find a young brumby that would help her find the true spirit of the park.

Star gives birth to a lovely set of twins, goldie and blackie they are not identical. She later gives birth to silver her first son.
