She was Julieta's friend first, but soon the two of them become inseparable, and Bruno's feelings for her, no matter how hard he tried to suppress them, keep growing. Emilia had tried to avoid marriage as much as she could. Her brother and sister-in-law had tried to set her up with countless men, but Emilia scared them away, insisting she just wanted to exist and be her own person in the world. Then she meets Bruno and believes she found her person, a platonic partner through life until those feelings begin to turn romantic.
