Rome has fallen into chaos. Caesar is dead. The Republic is saved-or so Brutus believes. Cassius knows better. As Rome descends into war, two conspirators find themselves bound together by something far more dangerous than politics. They betrayed Caesar. They betrayed Rome. Cassius knew how much Brutus loved Rome, he was such an honorable man and everyone would be much pleased to have him as their leader, but some of his decisions do not please Cassius, leading to the men having a slight argument and Cassius finally shows his true colors....

When joining the conspiracy, Brutus makes three mistakes: not establishing an oath within the group, not killing the fearsome yet dashing Marc Antony, and not including Senator Cicero in on on the fun. But his gravest mistake of all may have been falling for the tyrant Cassius, who made him believe that killing his lifelong friend and mouth-date Caesar would be for the good of Rome. Does Brutus realize his mistakes, or does his honorability cease to matter in the end?
