Amren is still reeling from losing her Powers in the war against Hybern and Varian leaving her after finding his mate, but she still feels some part of her old self churning deep within her. So when memories of the past come back to her and she dreams about herself in her old form in another world she decides to join the others on their explorations and finds more than she hoped for... Bryaxis, once a creature that only instilled fear in any who crosses her, learns how acceptance feels from Nesta, Bryce and Azriel. When she hears of their planned adventure through worlds she decides to join their messy group and follows her path towards an old friend forgotten by time itself... In a world seemingly filled with only powerless humans, they find something, someone who is not supposed to be there. An ancient dangerous, dark creature, which is not very amused by them appearing in its own hiding space...
