A book just for him

Meet River, a sad, lonely, and abused 15 year old. She is sick of the life she is forced to live, and finally decides to run away. Three days without food and without much water later, she is discovered by Brycen James, a famous celebrity. Follow the startling twists and turns her life takes when she suddenly finds herself living the life of a superstar, and don't forget Brycen's younger brother Trent, who just adds to the confusion of the matter.

In the not-so-distant future, the world has almost crumbled. The world's population has been reduced to about 2 million, all of which must inhabit the central part of North America-- all of which, even if it includes bits of Canada and Mexico now, is still known as the United States of America. Although life is very smiliar to how we have it now in our present America, two main teams war in secrecy over treasures that they both claim hold a powerful energy. Conflicted over the sides of this war is Sara Brycen, a girl who is torn between her parents allegiances to one team and her sister's loyalty to another. Will Sara find her true team and join them in the fight for the Energy Treasures, or will she try her hardest to stay independent like the people who don't face such a struggle?

Every pokemon story on here is either about Ash, some made up person, or setting that doesn't make sense. So for those who want a story based off of real characters that don't get much love, here you go! This will be a Skyla x Brycen story if you could tell by the cover. Not really sure how old either of them are, but I think it works. Buckle up for the ride and let's see where this thing takes us! (Brycen POV, most of the time.) Disclaimer: This is a passion project and will most definitely not have regular updates.
