The Juneau Alaska Science Club wasn't very lucky. They got second place against themselves and fought like nobodies business. They only had six members, because no one ever wanted to join. Penn Solstice, he was only there because he was lonely. Addy Williams, she just liked being around other people. Cyrus Anders, he was the smart one. Casey Dupree, she was too busy texting her girlfriend to even pay attention to anything. Brynleigh Pasternack, she was only there because she like winning the competitions. She somewhat knew how to act around people, and she always made sure to be aware of her surroundings. She was a junior in high school, and she had plenty of colleges offering her scholarships to go learn with them. Yes, Birdy Anders was a bright young lady with a bright future ahead of her. Cyrus Anders was born July 11th, 2006, and died September 9th, 2019. Four years ago on the dot. That was what legal papers said anyway. The kids who told ghost stories also said that. Brynleigh Pasternack was born May 1st, 2006, and went missing April 16th, 2013. It was a shocking tragedy that shook their town. But Brynleigh was much closer to home than thought. She wasn't going to tell on him, and he wasn't going to tell on her, so it was all okay. They could trust each other, at least a little bit. She hoped. Suddenly, he held out his hand in front of her and asked, "So, may I have this dance?" ♚♕♚ Brynleigh was just another part of the political game, and she was fine with that. The king was cruel. She knew that. So, if being a tool to the revolution meant that she could take him down and give her younger brother a better life, then that was what she was going to be.
