While I do experience dysmorphia in my way, it is different for everyone and overall writing it is difficult. I hope you understand :). And even though Dazai and Chuuya are 18 in this fic, just as I stated in previous works, I do not condone underage sex, in any way. Tbf I don't particularly condone sex in general but whateva. It isn't a topic touched on until far later in the story and even then it is brief and not expanded on. There is NO SMUT or ANY FORM OF SEXUAL INTIMACY featured in this fic. Any depictions or results of intercourse happen outside the fic. This is purely for fun. Just because I wanted to write it. And, be honest, Chuuya and Dazai... at least once, yeah. Don't lie. The time they had that resulted in this fic technically was completely consensual and both parties were fully aware and willing. He didn't hate living, but there wasn't anything exhilarating about it. He wanted something that would make his heart race and have him sweat profusely. The one thing he could think of was suicide. He always imagined a double suicide to be a beautiful sight. So he made it his goal to find a female partner who would accompany him with his suicide. He was set on dying until he met Asuka. She was beautiful, which meant she would be perfect to die with. But dazai soon began to realize there may be more to live for. Maybe even someone to live for.

A series of events causes Armed Detective Agency member Osamu Dazai and his partner Doppo Kunikida to switch their souls into each others bodies. After encountering a rather dangerous criminal on quite a treacherous job (especially with the brunette's chronic conditions of pain and fatigue) Dazai and Kunikida get injected with a serum and wake up a few hours later with a different voice and whole variety of different problems. How will the two detectives survive? Will Kunikida be able to cope with the memories contained in Dazai's body that constantly scream at him or will Dazai want to return to the horror story that he used to barely endure before? He's got a reputation to uphold after all... Dazai's burden is Dazai's burden alone.
