Everyone at Port Mafia unfortunately had never had the privilege of being able to stay with their families or their friends, but for Chuuya and Dazai everything seemed indifferent.

Dazai had been captured by a group of mercenaries hired by an unknown enemy. They had been torturing him for days, trying to extract information that he wouldn't give up. They had beaten him, burned him, and shocked him with electricity, but still, he refused to talk. One day, the mercenaries handed Dazai over to the king's army, and he was taken to the castle. The king, who had a reputation for being ruthless, was known to extract information from his enemies in the most brutal ways possible. Dazai was thrown into a dungeon and left there for days, without food or water. He was weak and barely conscious when the king's men came to retrieve him. They took him to a torture chamber, where the king himself was waiting. The king was a cold and calculating man, devoid of any emotions. He ordered his men to torture Dazai until he talked. They whipped him, burned him, and cut him with knives. They pulled out his fingernails and toenails, and broke his fingers and toes. They even cut off his tongue, hoping that would make him talk. Dazai screamed and begged for mercy, but the king was unmoved. He watched the torture with a detached expression, as if he was watching a play. He didn't care about the pain and suffering he was inflicting on Dazai; all he cared about was getting the information he wanted. Days turned into weeks, and Dazai was barely alive. His body was covered in wounds, and he had lost so much blood that he was delirious. But still, he refused to talk.
