Btd6 Stories

The story of how Silver and Quincy first met. Takes place several years before "Here for You", my other BTD6 fic, so Silver, Lar (her brother), and Quincy are kids. I wrote this a while back and I've been meaning to post it ever since I posted "Here for You", so here it is! Just like the tags say, it's not a Christmas fic, I just couldn't figure out what to title it for the life of me and my BTD6 OC is an Ice Monkey, so... yeah lol. Also, for context, during the time of this fic Silver and Lar's dad is a 2-5-0 Engineer Monkey, their mom is a 2-4-0 Ice Monkey, and Silver is a 1-1-0 Ice Monkey (until later in the fic). Lar and Quincy are regular Dart Monkeys; Quincy hasn't started his archery and Hero training yet because he's just a kid and Lar's crosspath isn't important because (spoilers) he eventually becomes a 2-0-5 Monkey Sub when he's an adult (also he's 2 years older than Silver and Quincy). You and Etienne enjoy the holidays together. :) I originally wrote this as a Christmas (and New Year's) gift for a friend back in 2022 because they simp for Etienne (idk if they still do), but I don't talk to them anymore due to... reasons. I didn't want my work to go to waste, so I decided to post it here after changing it into an "x reader" for people who like Etienne. Hopefully you guys like it. Idk how good it actually is tbh. I feel like I've written better fics. My self-insert character and other OCs are in this fic, but it's not canon to the series some of my other BTD6 fics are in. The original version used to be, though.

Quincy was only 10 when he lost his father and he didn't know what to do because he was by himself, no mother or father, just Quincy. Quincy was starting to lose hope and was starting to doubt himself. Ofcourse his friends noticed this but they were scared to bring it up as Quincy was a total mess right now. Quincy started to give up Archery, his dad was the person that inspired him to go down that path but with him gone, he gave up on his dream. Quincy, a great monkey archer, had a dark past that still haunts him to this day. and worse of all, he is reminded of said past during the daily invasion of the Bloons to his village. But the resident swordswoman monkey distracts him as always, only to give him even more grayer hair. Yet it is because of this he can continue on and feel something. Will the archer confess his hidden feelings, or will he maintain this eternal silence he has?

For seventy eight years, monkey-kind has been locked in epic conflict with the forces of Bloontopium. Day after day, loss after loss, the monkeys have been pushed back further and further east, towards the Edge of the World. All hope is lost. Dart monkeys desert en masse, weakening the very defences that attempt to hold the Bloon assault at bay. Monkey City has fallen, the last free monkeys of the world bar themselves in their homes, awaiting their inevitable and final end. They have accepted defeat, laid down their arms and wish only that their deaths should be swift. But not Bloonchipper.
