Write to Rank: A Wattpad Action Competition. This is a nine-round competition that I've decided I'll give a try. This is entry one. I'm going to call this series of one shots The Nine Trials, along with the title of said one shot. Prompt: An exactly 100 word flash fiction about a captured moment in time. This fits? I think? I can't claim to be somebody with all the answers or a definite solution, but a few people told me to start this, so I did? How it works will be explained inside. No promises, but I'll try my best.

He'd finally found them. Tom Riddle's heir. A boy no older than seventeen, with hair of a raven night and eyes of a churning ocean. The wizened old man closed the weathered book. The Fates had been kind enough to let him in on this secret, one he fully intended to use to his advantage. The boy must not fall into the wrong hands. Sometimes I'll post random one-shots if I feel like it or have writers block for my other stories. Maybe I'll post prompts for you all to use yourself. Casual Conversations follows a group of imaginary people in this author's brain. (Me, if you didn't get that). They help me plan the plot and come up with random ideas along the way.
