[12,264+ words] Bonnie Adams and her father recently moved, meaning Bonnie has to go to school at O.O.O High. She thinks it'll be the same as every other time she moves: hang around with the popular kids, become popular herself and don't get attached to anyone. But when she meets the reclusive Marceline Abadeer, will she change her mind? *CONTAINS SWEARING AND FUTURE YURI* This story is 100% Human AU and Highschool AU, meaning it's all set in a mystical, magical place called 'The Real World'. I'm going to keep most of the appearances and personalities of the characters relatively similiar to those in the show, but I will change LOTS of things, such as age and the relationships with other characters. So basically, if you haven't seen Adventure Time, it doesn't matter, but if you have you'll be able to see quite a few things from the show throughout the story. I'd also like to mention that I'm English, but the story is based in America, so I apologise if I get some things wrong and I'll try my best to leave things alone that I know nothing about (e.g. freshmen, seniors etc.) If I'm stuck, I'll just write about things in a British highschool and hope an angry mob doesn't crash through my window and claw at my head with a rake. You're laying on your bed with your laptop in your lap browsing tumblr when suddenly you get an anon message. "Hey, you're p qt and I love your art! ♡" You feel your cheeks warm. 'someone.. thinks I'm cute? impossible.' this is like the first time anyone has ever contacted you, your art isn't even that fucking good. you respond with "Seriously?" you send it, then immediately regret it. 'fuck.. that made me sound like an ass.. welp, too late now' you're a fucking idiot. you go back to browsing tumblr, sure that you just fucked that up and assumung the mysterious stranger will surely never respond, when suddenly you get another notification 'holy shit, really?' you think to yourself, opening the message "Hehe yes, seriously! ♡" you stare at the screen in disbelief "holy fuck" (you say outloud to yourself)

I don't really need friends. I like to be alone. Friends are just for ... weak people. I don't need friends. It's not like I need them to live, right? OK, so I'm a vampire ... yes. I have two siblings; Marshall, this really annoying guy that turns out to be the eldest brother, and Marceline, who I call Marcie, she's like the best sister ever. That's one of the reasons why I don't need friends -- I have Marcie (and also Marshall), so why I should have friends? Well, even though Marcie said I'm the only one different from her and Marsh ... if they look dark and spooky and stuffs, I look like pink bubblegum and I have fluffy hair and stuffs. And I hate it. But anyways ... I feel like I'm ... different. I mean, no, not physically ... I'm just different from the others, like don't have friends and stuffs even though Marsh and Marcie have. I thought I swear my heart in a hope to die that I'll never say that ... After all those things, I get so ... sad and stuffs. All those drama ... I hate. My life.
