YEP THIS IS HAPPENING BISH-

I'm still coming up with this story but I wanted to take a break from one shots and try to write an actual fanfic. It's been seven years since the resonance cascade and everything has gone to shit. Freeman seemingly disappeared and the cascade got the attention of a powerful alien army, the Combine. The Science Team, after being dropped back into the world after the Seven Hour War, are forced to adapt to this new lifestyle while aiding an underground resistance.

My tears are made of heavy steal. Burned and bent to hurt, as they fall. Jagged but smooth, when they fall down my 13 year old cheeks. Do you see me crying, as my eyes fill with solid liquid? Do you hear the agoney spilling out my mouth as you die? Or are you already carrieing on a conversation with God? Just left with out a final good-bye? Did you have a chance? To say or even think a fare well? I never told you thoughs words. Good-bye. Even when your make-uped body lay in a pink lined cascet with painted white wood decored with detailed pink roses on the front and sides, I could not say good- bye. The worlds would not form. Nor was I able to come to close to your lifelsess, soul-less body. You looked close to you, but you were not you. It's been almost a week since Gordon received the final message from Coomer. The idea of being able to extract his friends from the game was an insane Idea but it was so insane that Gordon was willing to try it. He didn't want the science team to suffer in darkness alone when he had bonded with them on such a personal level and besides, he owed them a better home then the polygon world they were so used to.
