It has been two years since I have had physical contact without pain. You can blame the militia for that. They attacked us, if we were lucky enough to make it out alive then we had a after-affect of the drug they used on us. Everyone is different, mine is worse than most. If someone touches me, it feels like my skin is burning off my body. It sucks but I have learned to live with it. As the only child of the Doyen of East Egg, I am dominating life and running the University full of future leaders when HE comes to class. God was having a very good day when he made this man. 6'3" Caramel skin, a body that had to be sculpted and...the exact type of self-centered jerk that comes from East Egg. Turns out, the only boy in the world I can touch is the only son of the East Egg Leader, our enemy. The country is divided, we are on the brink of a civil war and his kiss ... was strangely familiar. What is going on? And why the hell is he staring at me like that?
