Story of Bucky Barnes and Natasha Romanoff's Agent years when they were working for Russia.

Natasha Romanoff and James Barnes are captured while returning home after intercepting S.H.I.E.L.D nuclear codes. Their captor turns out to be none other than Keres Lebedev, an infamous and ruthless Russian spy boss. When they reach Keres' facility, the two are separated into different rooms. They are informed that if they reveal the codes, they will not be harmed. If they don't, there will be consequences. While in a meeting with James, Keres makes a deal with him. Natasha can receive whatever he refuses. If he refuses food or blankets, that ensures that Natasha gets them. The same goes for torture. James can refuse his torture and she will get whatever he doesn't, or he can take the beating for both of them and she won't be touched. James agrees to this and the deal is formed.
