He gestured to the envelope in a 'go on' fashion, and that seemed to break Eddie out of whatever stupor he was in. With one last confused and concerned look at him Eddie reached down and scooped up the envelope taking out the papers and reading through their contents. "I don't understand." Eddie said after seemingly having read through the papers at least three times. "C'mon Eds," Buck huffed out a mirthless chuckle, "I know that you know what a deployment issue looks like."

' Eddie knew he'd made a mistake when the alcohol started to go down like water. He'd barely managed to grab hold of the shot glass before he knocked it back. Considering the shot was vodka, the lack of cringing was a definite sign. His flushed cheeks and glassy eyes were another dead giveaway.'

Buck was so terrified of what could have happened to Bobby as a result of the radiation exposure and as a result, chooses to spend more time with the man, and by association his family. Somewhere along the way, he and May bond and she becomes the little sister he never knew he needed, and in Mays opinion, he definitely needed her, especially when Eddie and feelings are involved.

A fanfic immediately following Buck and Tommy's kiss in 7x04. Right now it's basically Buck coming out to and getting advice from Hen, but I'd love to continue and have it follow Buck/Eddie/Tommy with some more clear hints at Buddie. Let me know what you think!
