Max is a bartender, trying to make a life for herself. The tragedy of her parents death from a few years ago still follows her wherever she goes. Then she meets James and she seems to be falling head over heels for him. But James seems to have a secret, that might destroy their rollercoaster romance. How do you escape true love though?

Reader has telepathy and telekenisis which she uses to help Bucky through his nightmares. In doing this the two of them form a bond that eventually leads to something more. The only problem is Bucky's mind won't let him be happy and he pushes her away. Hopefully he realize how much she means to him before it's to late.

y/n didn't have a good life growing up. Her mother died when she was 4 years old and her father started abusing her after the death of y/n's mother. She ran away and went to Tony Starks place and found out her crush Bucky Barnes had lived there. Tony and Bucky both said that y/n could sleep with Bucky in his room. While they were trying to get back to sleep y/n decided to confess her love for Bucky and Bucky had also confessed his love for y/n and they began dating. She told Bucky about her parents and what her dad would do to her and Bucky promised y/n he would protect her. y/n also has nightmares about her father and how he would abuse her and Bucky helps y/n with those nightmares and keeps her safe
