A mission to the Russian city Rostov-On-Don sends James Buchanan Barnes in a downward spiral, forcing him to suffer all alone until the one and only Sam Wilson comes to retrieve him and finish the mission together. Their time together teaches them both many...new things, about themselves, their past, and especially each other. (Extra: Sorry everyone for not updating in so long! "I don't need to, you do it to yourself." She put her hand on her chest and tried to calm her laughing down. She earned a side eye for her comment. Sam could feel his face getting hot again and decided not to indulge her with a response. "I'm not wrong." She continued, her voice steadied. "You obviously like him and the yearning is painfully thick." "Yeah, well." Sam started wiping down the stovetop. "It's not like I can do anything about it." "Why not?" A spin (I think) on the 5 + 1 trope where we have 5 gift exchanges filled with emotions that finally lead to a confession. Set 6 months after endgame, Sam decided not to take up the mantle of captain America and when he gives away the shield nothing but bad comes out of it. Sam Wilson thinks James Barnes is an absolute twat. Bucky thinks Sam is an idiot who's too annoying for his own good. How far are they willing to go to prove a point? Set in a superhero academy with a whole bunch of Marvel characters. This will update whenever I feel like it, but I'll try to update regularly regardless.

Sam started noticing some differences and odd behaviors with Bucky he did some research finding out Bucky was a little. Will Bucky let him help him? or will Bucky even find out the news himself?
