This is to celebrate the fifth year of writing Christmas stories -- year five of being on this website seemed like a special checkpoint. I'm gonna try to make these as pleasant as possible! I might throw in some angst for backstory but I will try my darndest to make it happy. *credit to Marvel for the universe, Stan Lee and Jack Kirby for the characters*

When the Avengers get adult-napped they wake up to the strange noises of chaos and not their usual family banter-no...they wake up to sounds of two little girls hauling ass down the hallway laughing as four very pissed off guards covered in bright neon paint and glued on Chicken feathers running after them. What happens when they find out this little mischievous girl is their daughter...yeah, you heard right THEIR daughter. Imagine their surprise when said child falls through their cell via Vent, Will they be able to save her from not only Hydra, or the Red Room but herself? Will they all be happy family in the end?

The backstory of Steve and Bucky is a long one, and it doesn't end anytime soon. They grow up with each other, learn with each other, cry with each other, and fOndUe with each other. This is the beginning of a very long series where I write my own version of their lives where they can be HAPPY TOGETHER. In a alternate reality where soulmate marks are printed on your skin like a tattoo since birth and the avengers are back together and in fighting form Astrid a young struggling engineer just so happens to have two soul marks tattooed onto her thighs. Astrid is a mutant, has been her whole life, with a very strong protective instinct that seems to land her in a lot of trouble. One night walking from Stark Tower after a full day of work she comes across a group of men harassing and terrorising a young women and of course she had to step in. But as usual things go belly up pretty fast and just when Astrid is preparing to both receive and give a major beat down two god like men appear and things escalate pretty fast from there. Nothing like meeting your soulmates in an alleyway after taking down some basic lowlifes. Well nothing else in her life was normal what made her think meeting her soulmates would be.

Its their first Christmas together. Since Bucky came back. It's Christmas eve and everyone is in the Avengers tower messing around and telling jokes.

Steve feels as useless as ever and Bucky makes everything better. Everything falls in place as it was intended, but Steve realizes somethings a little too late. Steve is not the most up to date guy around. Heck, the guy barely knows how to use YouTube, let alone know anything about the LGBTQ+ community - especially since the community was taboo in the 1940s. Peter Parker, on the other hand, has grown up in a relatively accepting time. With his help, Steve learns about bisexuality, and realizes that he might not have been straight all along.... Let me know what you think! *Please Note: PTSD is a very serious mental health issue. I do not really touch on it in this story, but note that both Steve and Bucky - as well as all the other Avengers - would have some serious trauma that would impact their lives quite a bit. Because the movies don't really touch on these struggles, I recommend researching how this condition effects people (but please mind your own health to! If it gets too much, please step back and take a break!) and how we as a society can help create a space where people are safe and comfortable.
