Bucky Barnes is headed to a coffee shop in the beginning of January, after Christmas. With his friend (or he convinces himself to be) Sam Wilson, where he learns something he wished he knew sooner.

Two weeks since his best friend died and now Steve is falling to his death, his mission failed. He could cry. Who would blame him? He was seconds from death, fear piqued, and yet...no tears fall? See, he promised Bucky he would be with him 'til the end of the line. Bucky had kept his end of the promise, and now it was time for Steve to keep his. And who was Steve to keep a man waiting? Captain America fell down to the ice and welcomed the darkness like an old friend. Until the light flooded, and all hell broke loose once more.

Steve is not the most up to date guy around. Heck, the guy barely knows how to use YouTube, let alone know anything about the LGBTQ+ community - especially since the community was taboo in the 1940s. Peter Parker, on the other hand, has grown up in a relatively accepting time. With his help, Steve learns about bisexuality, and realizes that he might not have been straight all along.... Let me know what you think! *Please Note: PTSD is a very serious mental health issue. I do not really touch on it in this story, but note that both Steve and Bucky - as well as all the other Avengers - would have some serious trauma that would impact their lives quite a bit. Because the movies don't really touch on these struggles, I recommend researching how this condition effects people (but please mind your own health to! If it gets too much, please step back and take a break!) and how we as a society can help create a space where people are safe and comfortable.
