I participated in a 7-day retreat at the headquarters of Fo Guang Shan in Taiwan, one of the largest Buddhist organizations globally. This retreat is not exclusive to Buddhists; in fact, some of my friends who attended are Catholic or Protestant. With the right perspective and an open heart, Buddhism becomes a philosophy where its teachings can bring about positive changes in our lives.
