India, 3rd century BCE. A prince is born under a prophecy: he will rule an empire and lead his people with wisdom. But first, he must conquer. He must fight. He must become a killer. Ashoka, son of the Maurya dynasty, is a warrior without equal. His thirst for power drives him to the bloodiest battle of his age: the conquest of Kalinga. But victory brings no triumph. Only silence. Only the faces of the dead. Haunted by the carnage he has unleashed, Ashoka embarks on a journey that will transform him from a ruthless conqueror into an emperor of compassion. Guided by the ancient teachings of the Buddha, he will learn that true power is not won by the sword - but by the Dharma. Based on historical events, "Ashoka the Great" is a story of war, redemption, and the radical choice to govern through nonviolence and justice.

Before heaven, there was no heaven. Before earth, there was no earth. Before all things, there was Wuji - 無極. This is not a story. This is a record. A record of what existed before form, before name, before distinction. A record of how stillness became movement, how movement became division, and how division became the ten thousand things. Gods. Demons. Judges of hell. Kings of heaven. Creatures of mountain and sea. All are recorded here. Not as legend. Not as interpretation. But as they were written. This text gathers the oldest surviving accounts of ancient Chinese cosmology, mythology, and underworld law - and retells them in the form they were meant to be remembered: Flat. Direct. Unexplained. The way records are meant to be kept. Read it carefully. Because what is recorded here is not separate from you. All things come from Wuji. All things return to Wuji. You are included. This record continues alongside the narrative of Hell Difficulty : The Reincarnation of Yanluo Wang

An old school friend invites the protagonist to his home in Ghorka, Nepal. After a few months staying there, his friend returns for a while to England leaving Mark in Nepal. The world is hit by powerful solar storms which knock out everything electric. His friend, Sabin, has to return to Nepal come what may, so he begins a journey on foot across Europe, where he meets a fellow Nepalese, and they join company. Their journey is hastened when they are picked up by a Sikh pilot in a small plane returning to India. Taking advantage of lulls in the solar storms, they hop across the Middle East until they reach India. The plane cannot continue, so they split up on foot, with the pilot heading to his home, while the two Nepalese men head for theirs. At last Sabin finds himself in Kathmandu, where he leaves his friend and picks up a small packet of seeds from the Post Office. Shortly after, he arrives in Gorkha where his wife and Mark are waiting for him. No sooner has he rested, than a group of Tibetan monks arrive in the village carrying messages to the Dalai Lama in India. They also carry one for Sabin, from his uncle in a monastery near Mount Kailash. His uncle requests his presence, so Mark and Sabin leave on horseback and head into the Himalayas. After a long and arduous journey they arrive at the monastery, where the monk asks them to take a message to a monastery further north which is unknown to the Chinese, and not on any map. They set off into the mountains, and find themselves sheltering in a cave from a terrible snowstorm. Coming out of the cave in the morning, a group of unusual rescuers are waiting to take them to their destination. A walk through a tunnel in a mountain, leads them to a hidden valley of warm sunshine and green fields.

My belief is that two worlds exist, one on the outside, where we interact and are corporeal. And our own individual perception of this reality, these poems and short stories allow others to see the world as I perceive it.

After Robert Pirone photographs A-list actor Brian Keating cavorting with girls in a Tokyo hotel room, the actor's fixer / father figure, Mr. Young, sets out to protect his boy. He threatens the only thing that seems to matter to Robert Pirone: his estranged daughter Makiko. But most of that is shown in LOUD (Or read it from Makiko's point of view in QUIET). In VINTAGE ROB, Robert Pirone attempts to meet Makiko, but he is too busy trying to make-up for screw-ups in the past to notice his screw-ups in the present. Please help me... Please.... Those words echoed in his mind as he wandered down the crowded city street. Merchants cried their wares, orphan's sat dirty begging for change in the muddy corners, women called out their various services for an evening. People walked by one another hardly aware of anyone but themselves. So many people with their heads down, and looks of misery.

Here, i describe my spiritual journey, my spiritual progress, along with many other facts about myself. I might talk about people i meet along the way who are also on the path and they more often than not, inspire me to some degree. Mostly though, i will be focusing on the general thought landscape of my mind, and how i feel as i progress on this path, testing out the various methods that others before me have proposed. I am not the first among men.
