Evan Buckley lives at home with his Mother, Margrette Buckley, and Father, Philip Buckley. They both are horrible, but Buck can't just move out, he has no where else to go. His Sister left 3 years ago, and hasn't heard fom her since, leaving him to fend for hisself. Buck applied to be a firefighter and he got the job, he works at the 118. Bobby, Hen, Chimney, and Eddie was all working there, then Buck came along. They all noticed how distant Buck is, he hardly muttered 2 words to them, but when something happens, he has no choise but to trust them.

Eddie has spent his whole life trying to live up to his parents' expectations. He was used to them telling him he's a terrible parent. But saying that to Carla and, God forbid, Buck? Now that was crossing the fucking line.

Evan "Buck" Buckley moves to LA, determined to make a new life for himself. He takes a job as a firefighter and keeps a low profile, but he is soon won over by the warmth and caring of the close-knit fire family, especially that of widower Eddie Diaz. With the help of Eddie and his kid, Buck learns to love and trust again -- but when a mysterious stranger arrives and starts asking questions, Buck's dark past threatens to reclaim him. Note: While this is based off Nicolas Sparks' Safe Haven, I just want to make clear that this is based off the movie, not the book.

They are both intently staring at the lights changing from one number to the next. Then the elevator comes to a halt and Buck assumes he'll soon be alone. But instead of pushing away from the wall, the other man is just furrowing his brows. Then Buck realizes the door isn't opening. His eyes flit back to the current story: Four. That's not where any of them wanted to get off. Buck groans. "I think we're stuck." Buck laughs a humorless laugh. "Shit." <hr> Buck gets stuck in his apartment building's broken elevator with his good-looking neighbor from the sixth floor.

Faced with losing his son, Eddie is ready to fight for Christopher with everything he has. But Buck makes a deal behind his back-one that will save Christopher at the cost of everything else. All Buck has to do is leave... and make sure Eddie never knows why.

Eddie is new to the LA area, and the 126 fire department. He meets the team, and is curious about a certain team member Evan Buckley. A man who seems perfect, but is no doubt living a double life. Or Buck is hiding a secret from the newest team member out of fear of his past. When he and Eddie start to get closer, he realized he'll have to tell the truth, he has a son.

Everyone thinks Evan Buckley left because it was sudden. They're wrong. Evan Buckley didn't just walk away from the 118 he walked away while acting like nothing was changing. He smiled, talked, worked his shifts, and stayed the same in front of everyone. Not even Bobby Nash, Athena Grant, Eddie Diaz, or the rest of the team knew that he had already decided to leave. And when he disappeared, it didn't just leave confusion behind. It left silence. It left distance. It left questions no one could answer because no one even saw it coming. Bobby Nash and Athena Grant had always been like parents to him steady, grounding figures who trusted him more than he trusted himself. Eddie Diaz was the one person who understood him without needing words. And the 118 was the only place that ever felt like home. But Buck still left. Now he's back. And nothing is the same. Because the truth behind why he left is still buried somewhere he refuses to talk about and the damage of leaving without warning never really went away. . . . . . . . . Buck and Eddie are talking about Buck's coma dream world and some confessions happen.

Buck has gotten a job in L.A as a firefighter at the 118, so him and Maddie move there. Maddie also has a job, she will be a 9-1-1 dispatcher. Everyone loves the Buckley siblings and wants to get to know them more. Eddie and Chimney are the main ones who wants to get know Buck and Maddie more then the others but with Maddie past relationship and Buck doubting himself, will they be able to try to get in a relationship with Eddie and Chimney? ⚠️Warning⚠️ Mentioned of: Domestic Abuse Child Abuse Homophobia Kidnapping

Evan Buckley (Buck) dies, or so they thought. Buck was in an accident at work. The 118 lost signal. They searched, but they never found him either dead or alive.
