Eddie has seen a lot of scars and has some of his own. He knows the pain they cause is often both physical and emotional. He knows a lot about them, but not as much as he thinks. Buck's scar is still a mystery to him.

Eddie has spent his whole life trying to live up to his parents' expectations. He was used to them telling him he's a terrible parent. But saying that to Carla and, God forbid, Buck? Now that was crossing the fucking line.

eddie looked out the window of bobbys office. buck and christopher laughed as buck picked up chris and threw him over his shoulder. "some things are just more important." eddie said, more to himself than to bobby. buck looked in the window and motioned for eddie to come out. eddie turned his head to bobby, "tell them to keep their money". and with that, eddie ran over to the two people he cared about most in the world. because when he was with them, nothing else mattered. this was exactly where he wanted to be.

Buck and Eddie are talking about Buck's coma dream world and some confessions happen.

He's in a relationship with his colleague. He starts going to the nearest flower shop almost everyday to get his boyfriend flowers, to show his appreciation for him.
