This short story began as a story arc for the Early Birds book, but that story took a different direction and it no longer fit. It's been lying in my 'books in progress' folder for a long time, so I decided to change the name, add some meat to it, and upload it as a short story.

Anakin loses his mother and Padmé tries to both be there for him and come to terms with her chaotic feelings. A/N: People complain a lot about Padmé's reaction to Anakin confessing to murdering the Tusken Raiders, as well as the romance as a whole. I decided to write this scene out from her point of view, hopefully adding some depth to it - depth that I saw in the movie. The title is a reference to a poem out of Mary Oliver's "Thirst".

Formerly unorganized, attacking those with souls with the assumption that they would get their souls back, now they gather under that purpose calling themselves Ouroboros. Before Ouroboros, hollows rampaged under the belief that they would get a soul. To counteract that, the humans gathered under one flag; The human organization, Hollow Hunters, was born. Ventaru Hatukai, formerly known as Venharus, is a hollow belonging to the organization called Ouroboros. Killed at the age of fourteen, he was found by Drevios, the leader of Ouroboros. His snow white hair that once stood out in the human world now seemed natural amongst the unnatural world of the Hollows, almost like he was destined to become the impossible. I got inspiration for this story from Kingdom Hearts (2) and Crisis Core Final Fantasy 7.

While there, Adellia meets a young blacksmith by the name of Faron and gets sucked into a plot that goes against her, and her mother's wishes. Will she be able to venture into the unknown, and survive out of the watchful eye of the palace? This book has sexual reference and mentions of things that could possibly be triggering to some - e.g. young motherhood and loss of a parent. This work is usually split into two parts, but I have decided to take down the second part, and consider the first part, one book for now, so I can work on the second. When the second part/book has been finished, I'll decide whether I like it as one book or to reincorporate the rest of the book to make it one. Entered in the Wattys(2020)!

This book is a series of poems and short stories that I have written. Some are real life inspired and some are absorbed from the environment around me. People more than just flesh and blood, they are walking stories. This budding writer started writing as a form of venting out but soon people started appreciating me. But on her 11th birthday, her father gives her a doll that looks just like Lucy..exactly like Lucy.
