Two very different men with two very different lives find their paths emerge time and time again. Until one day, they are tasked by a gang of exotic hunters to track down a nearby dragons layer to retrieve its eggs in return for enough gold to set the two unlikely friends of life. But in a twist of fait, the two find them selves caring for the dragon Hatchling at the expense of their own lives.

On any particular job, it was known witnesses were not tolerated. Rei knew that better than most. So that boy, he was just collateral damage. Too bad collateral damage deaths can lead to a silent watcher. I don't own buddy daddies (I wish the animation is better than I could ever hope to be 😔) sry for the horrible desc I tried ok. warning this timeline is screwed as hell cause I have no idea ages and when stuff happens. also I'm making Rei and Kazuki both 22 during the main show time frame.

A slow-ish burn 'x reader' involving both Rei and Kazuki. Not to mention plenty of wholesome !!PLATONIC!! moments with Miri. This is a female reader for plot purposes. Once I make a oneshot book, it'll be mostly gender-neutral. This will include some harsh and potentially triggering topics such as: death, murder, miscarriages, r@pe, things along these lines. None of these are or should be romanticized, if you're not comfortable with these topics, it's okay to skip this book or those chapters. One thing that Kazuki didn't expect when he and Rei took in Miri is what she would be like when she was sick. Another thing he didn't expect was that he would be asking other mothers in the pharmacy which medicine works the best. Kazuki and Rei have been through so much but neither of them would want to change it no matter what. Also, Rei is cute when he is excited! ---------------------- Aka: Rei love sea creatures as much as he loves cats! Kazuki thinks about his past, he thinks it might be time to move on.

So this is kind of just a continuation from episode 7?? I'm basically just writing the rest of their story to fit my needs lmao. I am shipping Kazuki and Rei in this. It's not completely a romance but it has a lot of it. There will be smut in future chapters so be warned. And remember, read at your own expense. Don't like? Don't read.
