After surviving a deadly plane crash, Matt Anderson, the leader of a reject hipster group and classic rock band in Seattle, is turned into a werewolf and has to struggle with learning how to be a lycanthrope. The rest of his gang find it hard to deal with at times and try to help him as much as possible. At the same time, mysterious links to the late Buddy Holly and realizing he's the only one that can stop supernatural threats from harming Seattle ensue, along with references to classic rock, vinyl culture, transportation history and more.
