This was my final and I ended up being crazy proud of it. Really just wanted to use this to promote the Korra rewrite I'm doing. I still won't finish it anytime soon though lmao.

Jack is confused. He has been perpetually confused ever since he migrated from a little city in Southeast Asia to a place where more gwai lo- or ghost people (as they liked to call white people, back where he came from) than he would have liked lived in. And not all of those ghosts were friendly... But that was a long time ago, and Jack is now a sullen teenager who would have spent an eternity alone if the world permitted him to. Part of that world is his best friend Ari (who he also inconveniently has a crush on, but it isn't very relevant). Some scenes of his past haunt him still, and he would be glad to rid himself of them. Yet someone tumbles into his life, and Jack is mildly surprise to find something morphing, changing in his heart. He does not want it- especially when that certain someone carries a tie to his past that may very well change his present life. But whatever. All is fair in love and war, they say- it would be hypocritical to blame Cupid in such a messy situation when humans are exempted in such circumstances. We might as well as roll with it, and wherever fate brings us to... Perhaps that would be another question altogether.
