AT all. So this is my letter to "Ana" may be inspiring to some, if you try to meet "Ana" after watching this, then I mean whatever floats your boat, I can't be the judge. Some days you will be in morbid pain from hunger, or from binging after restricting for so long, you are going to throw up, smell like puke, Coke Zero, vitamin water zero, monster energy, bang energy, these will all be your best friends. Care for a sweet touch? Artificial sweetener packets, they are zero cals and taste delicious, soothes hunger. If you are also someone who is recovering, we all applaud you, but some don't want to let go just yet. Restrictions will be more difficult but if you really want to, then that's fine, you will be full on the excuses you tell others to keep your fingers, wrists, upper arms/lower arms, neck, WAIST, thighs, calves, and feet as small as possible. So many girls look at the airbrushed models in magazines and the photo-shopped women on videos and television, then look in the mirror and realize they don’t measure up. The reality is that only 1% of the female population fits into that category deemed “beautiful.” This story is a fictional short story based on real events. Hopefully it will inspire readers, male and female, to see themselves for who they are: beautiful creations formed with care by a loving Creator. Story Line: Nora was an average girl: brown hair, green eyes, heavier than most though not obese, not terribly tall or too short. She loved singing, acting, and was semi-fluent in French. She had a few really close friends who made her feel special. But something was missing deep inside of her. She wanted one thing: to be seen as more than just an average girl. WARNING! Please understand that this book has more mature themes to it, such as depression, swearing, anxiety, anorexia, bulimia, bullying, and probably more. I believe that everybody is beautiful and that we should always try to improve ourselves. Except there are safe and non-harmful ways to do this. You look beautiful no matter what. That Is Facts. Though when we do something like harm ourselves, we are giving ourselves a fake reason not to love ourselves. I know it can get discouraging for teenagers because we compare ourselves to everyone whether it be siblings, friends, parents, celebrities, and FICTIONAL CHARACTERS!!!! (Hard one for me. We are all human, however gorgeous or perfect that fictional character may seem, they were created by an author. A human being who possesses faults!) REMINDER!!! When I explain anxiety, depression, anorexia, and bulimia. I will be doing it in my own words. AS A TEENAGER. I have experienced all of these and will do my best to portray my emotions through this FICTIONAL Character. I'm sorry if this offends you but this is a major part of my book so please don't hate on that aspect of the book. Winning Or Losing is a story about a teenage girl who goes through the common struggles of gaining weight...and possible love. Evalynn is 16 years old, she is a junior in high school with zero plans for the future, how can you make plans for the future when you don't have any plans for now? She has zero direction in life and this causes her to be depressed. When she moves to a new school all hopes for a fresh start are instantly crushed when she realizes that this school...is worst than the last.
